West of The Mississippi
We've just completed our most successful West of the Mississippi run ever! There are so many people to thank, we wouldn't even know where to start. Along the way we had many-a Rocky Mountain adventures, walked on some NewFields by playing our first shows in Nebraska and Iowa, and strengthened our band bond through healthy, thorough conversation. We are back in the MidWest, but still feel a mile high!
Now, we bring our new-found sense of unity to Kalamazoo and Holland, Michigan, as well as Cincinnati, Cleveland, and Columbus, Ohio, before heading back home. We can't wait to see your smiling faces!
Happy New Year!
Greetings! We are back in Asheville after an amazing NYE @ The Newport Music Hall w/ The Werks! For the next two weeks, we will be focused on taking Jahman Brahman to the next level. Writing music, recording in a mountain studio, hanging out, and generally just living the dream! We can't wait to share some of our new sounds with y'all in the coming months. Meanwhile, check out this great article about our recent show in Richmond, VA. Stay tuned...

Greetings and Happy Fall! Rocktober began with fury last week starting with a run down to Florida and back up playing some amazing venues including 1904 in Jacksonville, Dunedin Brewery in, you guessed it, Dunedin, and Pour House in Charleston, SC. After a few days to rest/rehearse we hit the road again this weekend! We will be out and about until early November throughout the glorious Midwest. We are especially excited about our first ever VibeSwap event 11/2 & 11/3 with The Mantras, Aliver Hall, Glostik Willy, and The Subterranean House Band. Be sure to check all the Tour Dates to see if we are coming to a town near you!
"...And the Storms that Swarm" Reviewed on Jambands.com
Master Wordsmith Brian Robbins has done it again! Brian just seems to be able to describe our Music in a way no one else can. This review of our latest studio effort is an especially entertaining read. Enjoy!
Floyd Yoga Jam
We simply cannot wait to get to Floyd, VA later this summer for the Floyd Yoga Jam! We keep hearing that Floyd is blowing up with all sorts of great live music and we can't wait to see what all the hype is about!
We are glad to report that we will be performing two sets this year, one Friday night and one Saturday midday. Then we will depart and immediately head up to Dark Star Jubilee!
It is going to be such a special weekend of Music, Yoga, Family and much more. We hope you will join us!
June 22nd: ComFest and EP Release Party
Some days you just know are going to be great. June 22nd is one of those days.
Being a Band cut from the Columbus Cloth, getting to play the Main Stage at ComFest on Friday night is a HUGE honor. A festival that believes "that people ought to work for the collective good of all people rather than for personal gain", ComFest is much more then just an awesome party, it's a conscious party. We hope our set at ComFest will be able convey the copious amounts of Joy we will no doubt be feeling on that stage.
Then, as soon as ComFest is over Friday night, we head to Woodlands Tavern and finally celebrate the release of our EP, "...And the Storms that Swarm". We've been putting the finishing touches on this EP for some time now and are so eager to share it with the Jahman Brahman Family!
It'd mean so much for you to join us on what will no doubt be a glorious day in Jahman history. Much Unity!
Jahman at Inaugural Dark Star Jubilee
We are thrilled to announce our involvement at this year's Dark Star Jubilee at Legend Valley! The line-up is full of artists we've been looking up to for years and to now be peers, is very humbling and exciting.
We aren't going to be playing too many other Ohio festivals this year, and though we cannot give exact details yet, our slot at the Jubilee is amazing! So grab an Early-Bird ticket for only $89 and come party with us and some beloved members of the Grateful Family! Full initial line-up and ticket info at the link below.
The Return of Josh Loffer
Sometimes people just need time to get it together.
After one year and one month, Josh has reached a place in his life where he is ready to surrender to Music again. We can't wait to get him involved with all the progression Jahman has experienced in the last year and, together, enter a new chapter in Brahman history.
"Onward to a New Day!"
Yellow Springs: An Expedition

Jahman Brahman has been added to the already stellar roster of In The Pocket Artists!
ITPA is a full-service national booking agency based out of Bend, OR. We are confident that they will help take us to the next level and allow us to take our music around the country! The less time we have to spend on booking dates, the more time we have to create Music!
We want to thank Gabe and Brad at ITPA for giving us this opportunity. We can't wait to see what the future holds!
Outrageous October in Ohio!
This October we will be spending a considerable amount of time in the Great State of Ohio. We have deep roots in Ohio and are beside ourselves with excitement at the thought of what's to come there.
First, we will be returning to MindField Recording Studios to record a brand new five song EP. Almost a year after the release of Newfields, this fresh EP will be more focused on our ability as songwriters. We plan to give it away for free online. Release date and more details still to come.
Also in October we will play great Ohio cities such as Cincinnati, Newark, Columbus and Glouster. We will be headlining the Early Bird Party at Family Roots Fall Fest in Glouster, playing with fantastic Ohio bands Magic Jackson in Cincy and Under the Sun in Newark and hosting a wild Halloween bash with The Ragbirds in Columbus.
We will always have a profound love for Ohio and we hope to see all of our beloved Jahman Brahman Family Members in October!
It's Festival Season...
What a fantastic start to another great festival season! We've already played great festivals such as Spring R.evolution in Carolina Beach, NC, Tribez Vibez in Oxford, OH and Peace Through Music Festival in Bellefontaine, OH. In addition, the whole band made the trek to Rothbury, MI for the Electric Forest Festival seeking inspiration from the trees and the music. We did not come back disapointed!
Coming up we have our first festival appearance in Georgia at the Etowah River Music Festival, July 22nd and 23rd. Then, the first weekend of August, we have a special brunch set at Papadosio's Rootwire Music and Arts Festival complete with an assortment of delicious brunch foods and especially Tasty Tunes.
For Labor Day Weekend, we play our first festival in Tennesse, Head Jamz, on the banks of the Red River in the city of Adams. This festival will feature Keller Williams and the Keels, Cornmeal, Donna the Buffalo and many other great acts. We are honored to be part of this great event.
The following weekend, Sept. 8-11, we will be back in Ohio for The Werk Out. This years line-up ensures that this festival won't be small for long: Dark Star Orchestra (playing a special JGB set), Kyle Hollingsworth Band, The Werks, The New Mastersounds and tons of other big names.
The week after Werk Out we play two different festivals: Lake Crazy Fingers 2 in Blythewood, SC and Fall R.evolution back on the North End of Carolina Beach, NC. Crazy Fingers will be our first festival in South Carolina and we can't wait.
Further on down the road, we will be in Muncie, IN at the Water Bowl for our friends Glowstik Willy's festival, Stik Nite. This festival is Oct. 14-16 and has one of our old favorites, ekoostik hookah, headlining.
With a number of first's, tons of talented artists to meet, and so many beautiful places to play music, we couldn't be more ready for the remainder of Festival Season 2011. We have tickets for many of these festivals, often times cheaper then other outlets, so get in touch if you want to come out to one of these fantastic events. Travel safe and enjoy the rest of the great music this summer has to offer!
